What you should know about Thyme Out Estate Ltd
Thyme Out Estate is a 19th Century homestead located just outside the town of Feilding in the Manawatu. The property serves as a Bed Breakfast which offers guests the choice of three contemporary themed rooms and a range of facilities for their stay. In addition, Thyme Out runs garden tours and provides a beautiful venue for group events such as weddings and social functions. The garden comprises of a formal rose garden and a number of garden rooms built up with shrubs and annuals.
Whatever the occasion, Thyme Out Estate is sure to provide a picturesque, warm and comfortable home away from home. Miranda and Frans Onland moved to New Zealand over 25 years ago from The Netherlands. Awed by the country’s beautiful scenery and friendly people, the two decided to make New Zealand their new home and have raised their five children here. Once the kids left the nest, it became time to set out on the next part of their adventure
Fran and I have had some lovely guests from abundant countries over these end two months.
Around this time of year the garden starts to look a bit droopy, so some desirable easy rain does a lot of good for the plants and the veggie garden
